We are 15-0, 2-0, #1 and even money to win the title.

No, we're not playing our best right now. But do you want to be playing your best in early January? Why don't you negative people listen to Cal? He even said today in his PC that he doesn't want to be playing great at this pint. Let the season be what it is - it's a learning process. These types of games are INVALUABLE when the tourney comes around. Do you want to get to the final four with never having been tested? Geez, you really can't please some people.

I think it's great these kids are learning to win close games. This is exactly what Cal wanted and what they need to get even better as a team.

If we dont' cover the spread, people freak out.

I learned long ago to be happy with conference road wins, no matter how "good" our team is or how "bad" the other team is perceived to be. Margin doesn't matter. Just win.

We just need to enjoy the ride.

Some idiotic fans thought it was going to be a wide-open road to a national title this year.

Maybe some of them, aside from gaining an education on the reality of competitive sports, should also readjust their unrealistic expectations. If UK wins #9 this year, it's going to take a tremendous effort, just like it would for any team. You'd think 13 years without a Final Four would have taught some folks. Guess not....

Who the hell are they pulling for???
Some fans think our roster is overrun with Rasheed Wallace-types who will only listen after the most dire of competitive outcomes.

It's rather insulting to these young men as competitors.

I don't mind these type of games, provided we learn from them and get better - and Cal's teams typically do.

The effort in the first 10 minutes today was putrid though, that bothers me more than the result of the game.

games like the last 2 where our team plays bad will be a huge benefit moving forward
they are starting to see and understand what it takes to be great

think about this, arguably our 3 best players fouled out and our team still showed the will to win, and fought hard to get that win
that alone is a huge statement

UK is everyone's Super Bowl. Teams play out of their minds against UK. Been like that for a LONG time. I'm not sure where the "surprise" is coming from.

I don't recall seeing these shirts the last game Texas A&M played:

we went 13 years without a final four. Duke is on its 5th year with no final four. North Carolina is on 7 years without a final four if they don't make it this year.

Cal has done some incredible things and something not seen often. I think criticizing cal is fair game however, in game adjustments etc.... All fair game and some of these are true quite frankly.

I saw the best fanbase in all of college basketball in Texas. The entire sport owes us a debt of gratitude. North Carolina can't even get that many of their own to turn out for a HOME GAME.

BBN takes enough heat, count me OUT as someone who will pile on that train.

You are incorrect. It was not like that at all the 4 or 5 years before Cal got here.

Cal is winning 80+% of his games at KY , he also did very good at less than traditional powerhouse schools in Memphis and Umass in which he didn't always have better talent . You don't win that much and not be competent at in game adjustments , that ish comes from sore clowns in Memphis . Most of the players from that area come into college lacking in basic fundamentals from poor coaching in that area , so I'm not going to put any stock in what they think and you would be better off doing the same .

Pretty much this. I don't know why ppl think they need to tell cal what he's doing wrong. I can safely assume he watches film and reassess himself. I guess ppl think he just has the game and doesn't notice anything.

Threads calling criticism of the teams play last two games as idiotic, are idiotic. Some people see a turd and call it that, don't mean they hate the dog that dropped it in the yard.

There is criticism and then there is bitching, the two seemed to get combined too often by many posters
