oh yeah, think it has flared up pretty hot in the Louisville area recently. classic pyramid scheme tactics, brag about those big bonuses and payouts being earned by those who got in early on the top end, pressure to attend meetings and seminars, pushing to try samples of the products. my poor wife has been approached by least a dozen people in the last month that she has GOT to get in, that she would CRUSH IT and make BANK while running a business with her BESTIES.

I will be keeping my eyes open for it. I don't facebook but each of these scams runs through my wife's social network like a buffalo herd every year or so.

I can't understand how women who collect crappy "love and hope" wall art will financially prison rape each other over this crap. I had a woman from my wife's family tell me I was a bad person for not letting my wife "invest" in wicker baskets. She actually called it an investment and I got to explain the concept of MLM to her in a very blunt manner. It was fun, actually.

Well, one of them is one of my best friends (who you know) and one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet....and I love his wife, too.

She's pregnant, and I guess is using this as a way to 'stay busy' -- dunno, but I know him, and I know it has to be infuriating him. Haven't broached the subject, and likely won't due to the circumstances, but damn...
