I've never been a diehard fan of sports drama (I just mainly watch the games and stats) and divas like Simmons are why.

There are more diva's in the NBA than in all of Hollywood. Why in the hell would a team want Ben Simmons?

Why would a team want James Harden? He has forced his way of two teams in less than a year. And the dude has a beer gut now, and has been "playing" his way into shape. I think this trade works for both teams. They get rid of locker room problems. Harden can go run the pick and roll with Embiid. Simmons can focus on being that lock down defender for the Nets. The big winner in this will most likely be Seth Curry who will get a ton of open looks when they go to double team Durant. It's too bad it wasn't Maxey in the trade instead. As someone already posted, he may have to wait for the inevitable Harden injury before he gets a chance to take another shot.

This seems like a good trade for Philly, as Simmons is not even playing. Not that I'm a big fan of Harden.

I can see this working out well for both teams or horribly for both. Should be fun to watch either way.

I don't think that either Harden or Simmons will be a wash on their new teams, but they're each only going to have about 20 games to get in sync with their new teammates before the playoffs start, so it could be pretty rough going.
