I feel safe saying there will never be another 9 OT game that hits the under and finishes with both teams having fewer than 21 points. I was at the 9 OT game between A&M - LSU and that was a completely different experience, although that one was before the stupid forced 2 point conversion rules were implemented.
They should play this in a continuous loop on the team flight to Ill.
Why? At least half the rosters of both teams have changed since then. The guys that are still around don't need to be reminded of it.
I am proud of this board, however, to finally move on from 6-4.
Oh, wait that will be brought up for next week's opponent.

The same guy that is 3-2 over that same team, and has averaged 52 points per game in those wins? And in the two losses, they are by 2 points each? And in one of the games, the refs blew a recovered fumble for a TD, which would have ended the game in regular time?
Oh, that guy? Gotcha.
But hey, if you wan to keep holding onto that loss, you do you, boo.

I can still see our TE at the time dropping a sure TD down the seam going towards the N endzone. Nobody near him, ball right in his hands. And of course our kicker had to miss an easy 40 yd fg...game never should have gone to OT....Things more enjoyable than that game:

I don’t think back on that Illinois game at all and I’m a Franklin guy, but I’m not sure 3-2 against Illinois is a tremendous defense.
