The last 3:45 of that game was embarrassing, especially for dudes making six and seven figures of income to play this game. Boosters should be furious.
9-6 and it's only going to get worse. Has a preseason top 10 Kentucky team ever hit rock bottom so quickly? What was the preseason ranking of the 2021 team?
This is the most disappointing team I remember.

Lowe intentionally stared straight ahead knowing he was taking the 3 while knowing Oweh was more open. Even Aberdeen would have been more open. When they think about sharing the ball, it is always too late. Never saw a team miss so many obvious passes, only to lean into an awful shot, dribble into a triple team or choose a pass that isn't even open.
They're not doing this deliberately. Try and look for some positives. There WERE moments tonight where we had them back on their heels, and had that continued it would have been an easy victory. Pope will likely talk about the inconsistency. I also agree with others that his substitution patterns at times make no sense, and it mostly has to do with removing the guys who are getting things done. It's as if he wants to have a deep roster where he can just wear opponents away, but the talent isn't there.
There is no way in hell Lowe needs to be taking the last shot and it be a 3. I knew he was going to take the most stupid, heavily contested shot before he jacked up the 3. Couldn't hit the broad side of a damn barn.
2021 was preseason No. 10. This team was preseason No. 9.
The UNC game was equally as frustrating. They had every opportunity to win and couldn’t.
I wouldn’t be mad if Lowe sat the bench the rest of the year. Get that shoulder healthy and get tf out of Lexington next year.
