And Ms. Ryan is to busy covering her beloved Illini.
It is all about the numbers, more alumni in the Chicago area and the team is ranked high. Not sure she is covering FB at the same rate. I see us being in some blue blood recruiting battles and I will take that buzz with the NFL hype any day.

Les Long is available for our A.D. job. LOL. The guy was the second highest paid AD in the Big 12 at 1.5 million a year at Kansas. Why? Man, the old boys network must be alive and well. Reminds me of Joe Kuharich who kept getting great head coaching jobs in the 60s despite continually failing.
