Don't know how to post the link but read it today on a website. Brian Johnson is back after having his hearing problems resolved. Supposed to be songs recorded back when Malcolm Young was still alive. Just glad they are putting out new material.

He and his brother combined for some of the best sounds in R&R history, most of which would blow minds if they were a brand new act today. The complimenting rhythms on Shoot to Thrill, the Apex of bad *** LOUD guitar work.
I also think Angus is one of the most overrated player ever. Angus has always got the attention between those 2 because of his uniform and running around like a crackhead. Meanwhile, Mal just sits back and makes asses shake.

To me the magic of Malcolm is that anyone who has been playing the guitar for more than a few days can play any AC/DC riff with relative ease. But absolutely no one can make it groove like him.

I heard they're doing a collab with Tupac's hologram.

Thumbs down
Gassy, Lexie, DoneDeal, Frackle, and Cat all gave my post a thumbs up, so that pretty much offsets your thumbs down. Sorry.

Look, I like AC/DC as much as the next guy, but c'mon, it ain't like diversity is their raison d'etre. Repetitive repetition to the point of being redundant and unnecessarily recurrent gets old and stale very quickly and fast.

AC/DC rocks and I dont care what anyone thinks. Yes their songs have a similar sound, because their sound is awesome and they didn't need to change it.
Also Long Way To The Top has the greatest lyrics in rock and roll history.

If you think it's easy having one night stands,
Try playin' in a rock n roll band,

I'm five hours and forty one minutes into the intro. When do the verses start?

And can you give me the timestamp for the chorus? I bet it's gonna kick ***.

Everyone has their own opinions and taste but for me the great thing about AC/DC is you know 2 seconds into the song it's them. Most music on the radio today I don't know who the singer is until the song is over and the DJ says who it was. They have a distinct sound and I happen to like it.

Oh and whoever said Angus is overrated I kind of agree. I like his playing but it is pretty basic power chords and the riffs aren't blazing hot riffs like EVH.

Saw them in 1985 in Oakland. It was just me, first wife’s nephew and his friend, and about 20,000 Hell’s Angels.

I genuinely feared for our safety.

After the show, as everyone is trying to leave the parking lot, a guy gets out of his truck and walks over to my driver side door. He pulls a knife, shows me the business end of it. I asked what was going on. He said he was there to make sure I didn’t move until all of his buddies got to pull out into the main exit artery ahead of me. The conversation ended there.

oh, the concert was great.
