Fake news. OU is ranked #8 in the latest AP Poll and #9 in the Coaches Poll.

Duplicate thread to one of yours. Do you get paid by someone for the number of threads you make. You certainly don't believe in add-on posts in your already existing threads.

Will you create a different thread for the New York Times Top 25 CFB rankings?;)

I'm wondering if it is really worth it or not to play a tough out of conference game. We dominate Ohio State and the polls acts like it never happened.

Its also about when you lose. TOSU lost to us as we all know whereas we lost to ISU just a few weeks ago. However it also just goes to show you that these voters dont give one **** about who beat who when teams have equal records.

The crappy part is OUs schedule has been tougher by most service ratings but in the end its a love affair voting process. The commitee will not do the right thing either in regard to OU and the Buckeyes.

Well, ISU did just beat #4 TCU so that loss shouldn't hurt us too bad and if all goes well, maybe we'll get to play them again in the Big XII championship.

Teams change throughout the season, especially at the college level. I think most experts would agree that Hio State is a bettter team than they were at game 2 this year. Most experts would agree that Oklahoma was a better team at the end of last season than they were after the loss to Ohio State.

The second issue is because of the limited playoff spots, once a team loses, their access to the playoffs depends on what other teams do.

Finally, the process of the playoff committee isn't designed to determine who is the best team at the beginning of the season and whether they can hold on to that spot. That was the old ranking system. The process is designed to find the best team at the end of the season. Let it play out. OU is in good shape where they stand.
