New Bracket Template - Need your help

Hope you don't mind if I post this here. Feel free to delete if I can't.

I've been working on building new, fan-friendly, modern brackets and I'd love to hear your feedback and any other ideas on it.

Check out what the 2025 NCAA brackets look like here.

You can see head-to-head for wrestlers to see the difference in their paths. You can click on a wrestler to highlight their path. You can filter by school to highlight all wrestlers from that school and give you the weights where they have participants.

Wow, that's a lot of good information. Are you the person who posted the interactive brackets in the past? I had fun using those.

I know it is a work in progress so this is just a note, not a criticism - when I clicked on 174 it said:
Uncaught Error: Uncaught ReferenceError: scrollToWt is not defined.

Personal preference would be for AAs to be straight down instead of left, right, left, right. But that would mean more scrolling down the page to find info because it would take more space.

Would love to see your final result.

Coincidentally, the Big 10 clicked on WrestleStat’s tournament seeder today and got several errors too.

I am not. This is my first foray into recreating brackets.

I fixed the error for scrolling to brackets. It is working now.

AA thing makes sense with the auto weight scrolling now. With that extra space I can also implement different stats like pins, TF, etc. I will go ahead and make that change in the next iteration.

Really good work here! I especially like the team tab that you can sort by year. The sortable roster will be cool when it's finished also.

I did notice you had Homer Barr AAing at 450lbs in 1949 though.

I had to put in a value for when they didn't have a weight limit, otherwise it would mess up the searching/filtering and all that. I chose 450 for Chris Taylor, since he was reportedly the heaviest ever and he was around 450 at times.
