I love me some Elton John but think his albums have gone downhill since Breaking Hearts.

Almost a year old now, but he participated on the Glen Campbell Duets album as well.

Brandi Carlile has done a lot of good work over the years. She is very talented, and she does a great job of keeping her sound fresh each time she releases new music.

with Brandi Carlile. May be the last we get from him. Brilliant opening track. Thank you Elton for what is likely the last we’ll get.

This long intro reminds me of something else. At the 2 min mark. Tell me your not waiting for joe cocker to sing….. “what would you do if I sang out of tune….” Wonder if he gets any money for that part. Hmmmm…

Maybe I watched to many Intros to the wonder years. 🤣.

Brandi Carlile helped earn Tanya Tucker her first grammy ever (hard to believe). Great song. I love the lines "The days are long, but the years are lightning. They're bright, but they will never strike again." I think Shooter Jennings had a lot to do with this song. Verrryy special song imo.

Elton once was good. A long time ago.

Last really good album for me was Songs From The West Coast - three amazing singles/videos - ‘I Want Love’ with pre-Iron Man RDJ, and the incredible bookends David LaChapelle directed ‘This Train Don’t Stop There Anymore,’ and ‘Original Sin.’ So good.
