Interesting, though I'm much more interested in the city building out its own municipal fiber network.

Looks like all same features dvr, etc. But one plus is they have wireless boxes so if you want to watch tv out on the deck just pick up the box from your family room and carry it out to the deck.

If it isn't any better than their internet and phone service I don't want it. Our service goes out almost every time it rains.

I have had some horrible experience with them on the business side, but my DSL line at home has been SOLID. I think we are in one of their fiber-backbone neighborhoods so I will check out their cable offering. It will be hard to justify leaving DTV though. It's expensive, but it works and the Genie is the best DVR system ever.
