Hi Gang, I know we have a robust community of music lovers here as well as some talented musicians. The first single from my son’s album dropped this morning on all the music platforms we all stream. The full album drops August 6th.

Having followed him and the process to bring concept to reality, writing and recording music is no easy process. It takes a lot of work, time, money, meetings, etc.

His name is Ross Garlow, I am linking his Instagram announcement as well as Link to Pandora ( Tgar streams Pandora because he can build and archive lists ) and Spotify. Aside from being An accomplished musician he is an accomplished outdoorsman who seeks more back country adventure than most of us can imagine.

While many of us miss the musicians and bands we grew up with, there is always new music to discover. This new album merges jazz, funk, rock, and love. Enjoy.

Nice! For anyone that doesn't know, Ross is one of the premier bassists in Portland. I'll have to get out to the release party. He didn't use Brent (drums) on this did he?
I didn't know he was a river guy. I'll have to get him on one of our Deschutes floats sometime.

I've posted this before, but this tune shows off some serious chops from Ross....

Hey GG! Are we going to finally meet in August?

Me and Ross floated the John Day last weekend and landed dozens of small mouths with the fly rods. Lots of fun. The Deschutes is a great time as well.

Cool! I was on the JD a few weeks ago. Beautiful river.

If I'm in town, I'll be there in August.

I love fishing the Nehalem! I consider it my “home stream” in conversation. Wanted to get out in Sept but flows are so low this year, and we know summer rarely makes up a deficit. Now would be great on the middle River.

We drifted the John Day a week ago. Lots of water currently. It was a great day bringing small mouths to the raft. Have yet to fish the Nehalem. Next river for Tgar is the Rogue.

Yeah, I did a client trip to Harry & David (Medford) a few years back and told them if they need a good analytics lead …

Our third daughter heads out to Ashland on Friday. She's a counselor at a camp at Southern Oregon U. Would like to drop her off and bring my fly rod for some trout but alas I have to work.
