Doubt this will be much of a thread to hijack anyway... But would someone remind me again why LPT is sacred on the football schedule while we struggle to find room for WKU?

Is there any question which football program is better and will remain better? I mean, is there any reason to ever expect LPT to improve?

New AP poll, same wacky results. #32 WI and #36 TX make monster jumps to #10 & #11 for being WI and TX while beating overrated #10 ND and #5 LSU. Maybe Houston should be #1 for beating #3 Choklahoma?

They should probably just get rid of the preseason polls all together...

Better yet.....they should probably wait until 3 weeks are in the books to do the first poll. But that will never happen. Too many pollsters jobs would be affected negatively.

The first poll that I pay ANY attention to is the one that comes somewhere close to Oct. 1st.
