Well, it looks like the Kentucky basketballprogram could be getting a new practice facility. According to Jon Hale of the Lexington Herald-Leader, the UK Board of Trustees athletics committee is holding a meeting on Thursday, and one of the topics of discussion will be the initiation of a predesign process for a new multi-use facility that could include a basketball facility.

That cannot be. I was told by many people on here that the craft center is top of the line and didn't need replacement.
It might not be top of the line, but that wasn’t the point people were making. The point was that when you’re a HOF coach, with a team full of 5-stars, and you have the worst season in school history AND THEN follow it up by losing to St. Peter’s, K state, and Oakland… you look like an incompetent, egotistical fool bitching about a practice facility.

Nah, unless you just have selective memory for your CDS, it was said many times we had among the best practice facilities in the country and Cal was just making excuses.
CDS, LMAO. The guy sucked. You must have been one of the ones he could lose 20+ games in a season, miss over a decade of final fours, get his *** handed to him consistently by inferior programs, lose to the likes of St. Peters and Oakland, at KENTUCKY, and still want more of the ***** slap. He was so bad it was barely possible to even do what he did. Calipari wasn’t getting a damn thing and the rejection for anything he wanted was well deserved. The guy wasn’t even trying to win here and you throw out terms like CDS? I don’t think so. But what I do think is if you’re capable of being suckered by that slickback, which is appears you most definitely are, let Your wife buy the cars. getting suckered by John Calipari might be the most easily recognizable screwup of all time. Trust me, he laughs at it too. Lol.
Not saying we need the best practice facility to win championships. But if you are Kentucky why not have the best. This was one thing I must say I was always on Cal’s side about.

Don’t waste your time. He can’t even be bothered to make a screen name. This guy (Anon) knows that Cal wasn’t getting a damn thing from the boosters or Mitch after his bloated contract not only failed to produce results, but resulted in historically awful seasons for UK. He wants to argue semantics.
Is the new practice facility needed? Yes. Was it needed to beat the chumps Cal lost to? No. Is the fact that it’s happening only one year removed from Cal a giant middle finger from Barnhart? You betcha.

My understanding is UK Medical is going to build the facility and also have a sports/ortho medicine clinic. As a non profit they have to spend “ profits” or surrender them. Shouldn’t cost the Athletic Dept much at all.
So incompetent that we won more NCAA Tournament games than any program in those 14 years. No other fanbase ***** on its own program more than this one. He’s literally a Hall of Fame coach who won a title and went to 4 Final Fours here. What have you done for UK besides be a toxic embarrassment?
