Not having center court as an outline of the state filled in completely with blue is criminal.
What happened last time? It was warped or something? Either way it worked out in the end, new era with a new floor. Funny how things work out like that sometimes.
Wish it were filled in a bit more or had a nice UK on it where Lexington is. Barely could notice the outline of the state when I first saw it last year.Not having center court as an outline of the state filled in completely with blue is criminal.
I hate that interlocking UK (especially K), but I like the rest of the floor. It's definitely an improvement.

The transformation of Rupp over time is amazing.
Somehow we've let someone at Nike, with the imagination of a vanilla pudding pop, hijack the branding for Kentucky. It's like someone asked first gen AI to spit out a generic UK logo. Not a shred of originality in our logo. It's pretty pathetic, honestly.
It's simple; you take the weirdo 'secondary wildcat logo', flip that sucker so the teeth are on the other side, then blend that into the old Power K. And there ya go. A Power K with some teeth and ears.

Agree. Some teams should never have the logo/mascot/emblem messed with. Hip trends come and go but legacy and tradition will always make them relevant.

But Kentucky is not one of them. Kentucky has no tradition of logo or mascot.
The ”power K”? It didn't show up until the 70s and went away in the 90s. Good. It was dull. A hundred years of tradition and people stick with the ugliest one.
The wildcat. It used to be a mangy cartoon. Made it look cool. Then it was cartoony again in 80s . Now it's ok.
If we had something like Georgia, we would have to keep it. But I'm kind of glad we're not trapped and change.
