Just published a WNO wrap-up from this past weekend - incl. notes on Mocco/Dhabolt/Kenny, plus several recruiting updates for the women's program.

Let me know what you guys think:

Iowa Wrestling notes and nuggets: Who's Number One edition - On3

Was my first time ever attending, much less covering the event.

Really cool setup by Flo and the IC Sports Commission folks at Xtream Arena - very much like how they staged the Lee/Ono card last February (and women's NCWWC finals a month later).

Oklahoma st is on Dhabolt. DT took him to breakfast on Sunday and went to Sebolt practice afterwards.

Not a good move for Dhabolt. Him and Locket probably end up same weight. This worries me alittle because last year when they were in Iowa for UNI meet someone on here said he made a recruiting visit with Ross, and shortly after he committed. Taylor could have had the guy that majored him at WNO.

Dhabolt and Lockett will not be the same weight. Dhabolt is already bigger.
He will be at least at 184 in college. He is only beginning to physically mature and if you look at his dad and older brother, you can tell he has potential to even grow into a 197 pounder.

Dhabolt as a junior in high school is at the same weight Lockett is as a freshman in college. Why would you think they will be at the same weight in 2+ years down the road? Seems highly unlikely.

So would sit 2 years behind Rider, and Taylor will probably bring in a top 5 pfp 184 at the end of Riders time. Not saying he would break Iowa’s line up easily, but Gabe would be gone after he redshirted, so could step right in at 174 for a year until Angelo graduates.

I enjoy you started with him as a 184 pounder, let it work through your brain, and the output has him at 174.

Here's a crazy idea...we should grab said pfp 184 instead of this guy. Again, just an idea.
