New secondary logo.




Looks like it just appears on the pants.

Yeah, it has to build brand recognition. KState's wildcat logo and Northwestern's Wildcat logo both looked generic too, I remember when Denver Broncos released its newer logo and people said that looked generic.... After a while and dollars in marketing those logos built brand recognition and UK's will do the same.

I like the move.

Still not a fan of the new UK logo, but the new Wildcat isn't that bad. The more I see it the more it's growing on me. What I don't like is if they are going away from the center stripe on the helmets.

I don't feel like the helmets are a finished product. Call me crazy, but I just feel like they'll do more with them in the coming months. I wouldn't be opposed to having the center stripe, and using the new Wildcat logo as helmet stickers.

I finally got to see the video and the Nike guy said that the helmets were not finished yet. I was just going off a few pictures I had seen. But I agree, I guess we are the minority who like the new Wildcat logo. Wouldn't mind seeing it on the helmet as well as an alternative. I really like the new "coal" color they are going with.

I love it based on the fact it's not the new UH/X. I don't see Kansas State or Thunder Cats at all (those two are very similar in my eye). I do see a bit of Montana State's logo, but I'm not bothered by it. It's unique enough to us which is something we've not been getting lately.

Logo - not a fan. Reminds me too much of the old Kentucky Wesleyan logo.

Is NIKE going to do something to separate us from the University at Buffalo?

Last time I saw we were both NIKE schools, had same colors, same uniform and helmet designs and even had interlocking block UB on helmets. Except for the B and K (and difference in play) looked identical. So much for originality. Wonder how many other schools out there are in that "mold"?

Surely to goodness we should get some love and get a unique look (sure UB feels the same way).

Maybe this is a first step in separation but if UB comes out with a new secondary logo of a left facing bull I'm not gonna be happy.

I'd like the logo if the facial tufts of hair had more silver in them. It'll probably grow on me either way, though.

Overall, I really like the new unis. Nike actually delivered a much better product than I was expecting. They look very modern and the new Wildcat logo is a very nice touch. That said, I am not overly crazy about the black version. I know, I know....most schools are incorporating black unis into their regular rotation these days. But I still prefer the blue and white myself. That is our actual school colors.

Love the Blue and White unis, not much of a fan of the alternate uni however. I also really like the new wildcat logo, better than the UK block logo.
I look forward to seeing them in the 2016 season. I suppose the might mix and match some, ie. Blue jersey and White pants, and vice versa.

Im a big fan of the uniforms- not drastically different from this past years which i like. I also like the new Wildcat logo. It would have been cool to go retro but if you are going modern Nike it works well. I think it would look pretty sweet blown up on a helmet similar to Mizzou's which are sweet looking

Ditto, I love the new Wildcat logo and I'm no youngster either. Like the modern, aggressive look to it. Can't wait to pick up a new tee shirt with that on it instead of the lame old Orange wildcat we had before.

I too really like the new Wildcat logo. I'd like to get my hands on one of those long sleeve warm-ups they showed off yesterday.

There are 10 NCAA D1 schools nicknamed "Wildcats" and 50+ named after some sort of big cat. Any logo featuring a cat's head is inevitably going to resemble some other school's in some way. We don't have a unique name so it's a bit unrealistic to expect a completely unique logo.

Likes: I think this will eliminate that sweat stain look the last Jersey had. I like the wildcat logo on the Jersey.

Dislikes: White in the checkerboard. The leg stripe has been simplified. No numbers on the shoulders. Stripe on the helmet removed.

In the end,a fail. The jerseys had details removed and look cheaper. Can't belief they removed the stripe from the helmet

I'm glad they removed the stripe. Never been a fan of the single stripe. I wouldn't mind a stripe like LSU's though. I think the white checker board will look good on the field. I'm with you on the leg stripe. I wish they would have done something more there. The numbers on the shoulders with the more prominent checkerboard wouldn't have worked in my opinion. Not blown away by the new unis but not disappointed either.

I really expected to hate it on a helmet but I kinda like it on that chrome. I think my problem with the logo is Id like to see more detail work cuts in it for hair tufting on the wildcats face kinda like the Mizzou one has more detail in the face.
