Sounds like (per KSR) we're having a uniform unveiling tomorrow morning with Nike.

I'm excited. They're unveiling one-time basketball unis and the new permanent football unis. Football unis will include the new UK logo according to Jon Hale on twitter.

When I was coaching the Russell Athletic was the best uniforms you could buy,we had Nike a couple years and they were awful. Went back to Russell!

Can't wait to see what they look like, but I'm not excited for the new logo. That thing is so generic looking, still can't believe they spent $800k plus on that thing.

I just hope they aren't hideous. Recent trends with Nike uniforms hasn't overly endeared me to their design department. But perhaps they have done a good job on the new ones and they will be a pleasant surprise.

I have faith they'll be good looking. No matter what they look like, there are going to be the people who hate them just for being different than they were in 1950, but as long as they aren't totally hideous and the players like them, I'll be fine with them. I generally like the more progressive looking ideas anyway.

I'm sorry dude, but the power K is not coming back. I liked the unis. You have to move forward. The helmets were all cool, but the black uni and helmet was awesome.

The Power K is dead and gone forever! (Thank God!) Now let it go!

I like the new unis. I just wish they were more of the original blue. But that's gone forever, too.

I cannot understand for the life of me why UK doesn't bring back the Power K.

The Power K is a symbol of hope, peace, strength, and justice.

A source of inspiration for the citizens of the Commonwealth.

Much more majestic than a damn UH logo.

Nothing to earth shattering in regards to the uniform, not a fan of the black uniform. The one thing that irritates me the most is KENTUCKY on the jerseys, hate that. I know a lot of schools do it, wished UK wasn't one of them. That's why you have a logo on your helmet for identification.

And also, that new Cat is atrocious. Take it out back and shoot it quickly, put it and all of us out of misery.
