Chancellor Brewington from No AZ appears to have joined the team.

Anyone now anything about the kid?

Looks tall and fast. I think our WR room should look better this year, but who knows. I'm so used to disappointment.

Yawn, I know that there are good players in FCS but out of all the transfers in the portal we get a kid from NAU? Hopefully he turns out better than Noa a few years back

What? Noa had 17 grabs for 245 yards and a couple of TDs. He was the 4th leading receiver in catches and the 3rd leading receiver in yards, behind Spielman and Robinson, Stoll had 8 more catches. Most importantly, he came from Cal, a P5 school and not an FCS school.

This kid is a walk on, and probably won't see the field much at all, so duplicating Noa's numbers won't be an issue. If he does see the field or match Noa's numbers, we won't be winning many games.

So basically, this comparison is total garbage.

He hasn't played in an actual football game since 2018 due to injuries.

I wish I loved anything as much as Scott Frost loves adding players to the roster who have been plagued by injuries.

Definitely recruiting taller WRs these days.

He's like a gambler on a losing streak that doubles down. Yikes.

Hasn’t produced a whole lot so far and has hasnt played since 2018.
Same high school as Javin Wright.
Looks pretty fit in that pic above.

I’m ok adding to the mix at WR.

Walk on with some upside. Nothing being gambled here.

I don’t get the hate from a few on this one… he’s a walk on.

Rather than taking this opportunity to pile on Frost, just move along. Nothing to see here.

He's gonna walk into the position room and drop some knowledge about how things are done at Northern Arizona.
given our lack of production at the position since 2018, I'd say the room could use all the tips they could get

wonder if MLB pitchers would be willing to part with some spider tack? Manning looked like he could use some on that brick during the spring game.

This board comes up with some truly bizarre things to ***** about. Like getting a quality football player to walk-on.

I don't think people are bitching about this guy, but like 60 walkon players, with no chance of ever playing, taking up limited coaching time and attention away from guys who can play.

I don't give a rats a$$ how many walk-ons we have. Frost needs to win. I don't really think 60 walk-ons will be the reason if we have a losing season again.

Just win and no one is hand wringing over Bobby from small town anywhere.

But when you don’t win and there are multiple procedure, snapping the ball errors, and countless other errors that are fundamental issues that lead to losses, that will lead to people to hand wringing because Bobby from small town anywhere is taking reps away.

I don't know that they are taking reps away. I really have no idea how they distribute reps. Most on here don't.

Maybe you do so you can proclaim that is why we suck.

There could be 100 reasons why we suck and some on here would name all 200 of them.

Again simple math. Here is an example. Let’s say your HS kid takes QB lessons from Mario Verduzco. When you arrive there are 7 other kids to also have a lesson. The lesson is to last 1 hour. Mario has 2 other coaches, a GA and the freshman walk on QB. In Mario’s group is what he thinks are the 2 best QBs, the GA gets the next two and the walk on QB the next 2, sadly your son is number 7 and will just get reps if there is time. The coaches give this top 6 QBs say 100 reps, your kid and the other QB gets 25 at the end of the hour. OR Mario and company divide up the 650 reps equally by 8 and rotate through each kid giving them all equal attention. Now the number 1 QB is only getting 81 reps instead of 100.

The point is QBs 7 and 8 either get very limited reps or they take away reps. Same thing applies to practice at Nebraska for every position.

Can you explain how 160 players versus 95 players does not take reps, time, and focus away?

So if it is the 7 and 8 guys getting little to no reps and with GAs how does that impact the guys playing the game? What if those bottom 60 guys are running on the scout team and have little to no impact on the top players reps?

My point is simple, people WANT to make this a big deal when the vast majority are basing it on speculation. There are a lot of ways they can be handling reps and without knowing, I don't get how anyone can assess how much this is impacting the players in games.
