I think the size is in direct correlation to the amount of power and destruction this bad a$$ produces. With what they hope to achieve, it has to be this big considering today's technology.

It just blows my mind how they can take something metal, which sinks in water, that weighs 30,000,000 pounds and make it float. I can't imagine how much air there must be stored inside to keep it above water. There are much bigger ships than that as well. If I calculated right, the largest ship in the world weighs over a billion pounds. Science can be pretty cool.

a destroyer, lol. what a touching waste of resources & our treasury.

destroyers were dope military equipment....back in WW1. that ***** will be on the bottom of the ocean from a $5000 Chinese drone launched torpedo if it enters any hostilities this century.

The ship's weight is less than the weight of the amount of water it displaces

It's simple mathematics, and and science.
