could be an indicator if Satterfield can recruit at this level. I'm not expecting him to take us from #80 to #30 ranked class, but its obvious we have 6 open scholly's right now before you factor in transfers. BIG "IF", but if he can somehow flip a couple local kids and go out and grab another handful of some talented players, then I will be thoroughly impressed. Tough ask, but still could be an indicator.

It won't just be him recruiting, so it's equally important to make the right hire in regards to recruiting. I know he has a tainted past, but Hurtt could really help especially in Florida.
Wonder if there is anyway to get Cort Dennison back here. Asst DC, perhaps?
Typically the first recruiting class is weak. Thankfully we have a small class. Next year will be the real gage of how he’ll do.
How about letting him select his staff. It’s his a$$ on the line. He already has a staff that’s familiar with the schools in FL we recruit, I bet they’ll do just fine. Not sure I want anyone tied to that last bunch
We had a small class, but with the handful of already announced transfers and probably a few more coming, we could easily end up with 20+ spots. We are down to 7 commitments, now.
A couple of weeks before signing day, I'm pretty sure there are not going to be too many high level options to fill those slots. I'd rather we leave some open rather than signing kids who will be nothing more than practice fodder, and giving them four year scholarships.
Hurtt’s Show-cause was at Miami and it had expired. He apparently borrowed money from a booster and paid it back. Somehow, that’s a sinister activity. He’s good with me, if he’s good with coach.
