For this year:

Offense
FG% was 41.9% (297th out of 347)
3-pt FG% was 31.9% (307th out of 347)
Defense
FG% was 44.8% (224th out of 347)
3-pt FG% was 40.0% (344th out of 347)

I've been told that we will start shooting the ball better, so what will our percentages be next year?

MAYBE we will get hit by a truck; that should throw us higher up in the ratings.

Too early to say. I need to know who will for sure be on the roster next year.

Good Lord folks, all we lost was a guy who was basically David Rivers only not quite as good, another guy who "Basically David Rivers" outperformed in nearly every phase of the game, a streaky shooter with bad practice habits and a walk-on quality player who worked hard but never belonged anywhere near a Power 5 program. If the best player among the defectors was not even as good as David Rivers, I'm supremely confident that a charmer like Tweetin' Timmy can have this ship righted in no time at all.

And oh yeah, did I mention that the young talent he's been bringing in is the best in NU history?

Not only will we go winless in the conference, we will lose by double digits in all conference games.
I would take that bet. Better look again at the roster on Huskers.com and the recruits we have coming in. We've got enough left to be more competitive than that assuming nobody else leaves.

Mr. T pretty much sums up what Nebraska's MBB 2017/18 season will be filled with:

I have. Depth and experience. We will be lacking in both.

Next season might finally be the year that (pick one or more) Incarnate Word/Samford/Gardner-Webb come into Lincoln overconfident.

No excuses. We still have enough talent to win games in the B1G. IF not then a change will happen. Jacobsen is a really tough one but we've got a transfer coming in with more offensive talent than him and similar size. IF we can land that grad transfer center, our talent level in total IMO may not be much different than what we played with this last year. Transfers are going to have to play. We'll see. Not ideal, but I'm not buying that we can't win games with what's left.

You are putting a lot of faith in 4 guys (including Gill) who have played little to no minutes to save Miles' ***. Nebraska is in a conference where just about every other school has a better coach, and are NOT trying to fill 4 scholarships in April. Those schools have talent too.

I didn't say they were going to save Miles's ***. I said I thought they were going to be able to do better than your original post of not winning a game in the B1G and getting beat by double digits in every game. You do remember that they were picked to not win any games in the B1G after AW left this last year?

And AW3 was just one unexpected loss. Maybe Nebraska will get lucky and knock off Rutgers at home. Beyond that good luck.
