I hate vague terms like soon...im just to impatient. But I do like that he just visited and seems ready to announce

These croots are just making sure we have an enjoyable offseason. I don't care how vague they are because I know they're all about the #miketrike

Was he a 5 star on rivals at one time? He is a 4 star now, just on the outside looking in, but he keeps getting referenced as a 5 star - by whom?

Not that I really care all that much. He is a consensus great prospect and game changer regardless.

I'll guess Calvin is our next commit. Visited with parents and almost committed on his visit.

Schaef and Bruntz have both put in CBs for Miles as well.

I'm sure others have made this observation as well, but a commitment by Les Miles's son would be a great testament to how much Coach Riley is respected by his peers. Though it might make our continued recruitment of Tyler Shelvin somewhat awkward, but all's fair in recruiting, I suppose.

I agree with you ^^^^^

As for Shelvin, it has been quite awhile since I have heard anything linking he and a Nebraska visit.

I hope we get a player to be named later if this is a deal. We have always seemed to fine good Nebraska walk-ons at FB and don't believe we need to spend a scholarship for a 3* FB...unless we get a player via Miles to be named later. ;-)

Miles might be a good player. That's fine, but other than Andra Franklin back in the 70's, I cannot recall a top level fullback NU has brought in from outside the midwest who was far and away better than what we have found close to home. Same goes for interior offensive linemen for that matter.

Frank Solich?
For interior lineman, there is a long list. Fonoti, Shields, Aaron Taylor, Raiola, etc.

It is more than the fact he is a good player, which he is, look at what the KJJ name has done for recruiting in SoCal. You don't think the Miles name heading to Lincoln couldn't open a few minds about recruits looking into NU from Louisiana (oh, and that is also Coach Williams area of responsibility as well). At the very least, might be a good player host for kids coming in from the South

Good point. And if LSU ends up "retiring" Miles this year I'd take him to NU's staff in a second. Great coach.

To UM or NU? I looked, but I couldn't find anything on Twitter.
Posted by a recruiting blogger (on his twitter account) named Brandon Justice...he tagged Thomas directly on it so I think it is legit (I know who the blogger is and while I trust other sources more, he is not just some fan...he does talks to recruits). The tweet says he is deciding next Saturday and believes it is between NU and Michigan. Based on what has been said by the insiders I trust the most I don't think it is Michigan.

Andre Franklin's son has committed to walk on next Fall for the Huskers! He is likely to be an Hback/fullback for them.

(Couldn't resist... You miscorrected his correctly spelled name...)

Avery has started going to work on Deontre via Twitter...time for the Cali boys and McQuitty to chime in as well since they met him at the Spring Game.
