I just saw an amazing stat that I had to look up to make sure it was accurate. It was. I do remember the John Cooper/Dave Rader days when we would have multiple players picked each year. It would be nice to get back to those days.

We are tied for 52nd.

They also had 12 rounds of the draft and almost 25 fewer D1 teams up until 1993. Now we have 7 rounds and 130 teams putting out quality prospects not to mention the quality 1aa teams that routinely get players drafted. I’d wager we prob have a similar number of players going to camp as we did 20-30 years ago.
