NFL draft this year doesn't seem to have any real super stars besides the Hutchinson lad from MI...

Howie passed on Jefferson to take a guy that Diddy had on his board as a return guy. So, even if the draft was filled with gems, Howie would screw it up anyway. I think though that they SHOULD do pretty good since I assume they go DL, CB, and S with their picks. Even if they take consensus guys at each of the needed positions, I think they will get 2 good players with their three picks if they simply go chalk with their picks (especially safety). But then again, the OVERWHELMING consensus pick was Jefferson and he screwed that up when it was go time.
In all the years following the Eagles draft and all their ridiculous picks, I was never as sure who they were taking when it came time to pick Jefferson. A position of need and a guy who had balled out on the biggest stage games in the premier conference. It was a no brainer even for a guy with no brain. I remember being literally STUNNED when the pick came in and it wasn’t Jefferson. The only other time I was more stunned was when they drafted the fireman.
