Anyone have a buddy or family member who is into this and crypto? My best friend is into this. I believe it has reached the levels of vegans, crossfitters, and atheists who want to tell you about it all the time.

He’s now into NFTs and the concept to me seems so dumb, almost like it’s intended to be a dumb fad. I told him it sounds like digital beanie babies. 😂

If you’re fully into this then I apologize as I am stupid and cannot comprehend your economic expertise. I get the appeal of crypto. I don’t understand NFTs. Maybe they all become Bezos rich and we all look stupid. I doubt it.

NFT's aren't for me. I don't want any part of them. However, the only NFT's I see having value are NFT's with functional value. The NFT must exist within constraints set in a closed system where the NFT asset has value to a game or some type of virtual world. Since the game or world is curated and controlled, then the makers of the game can prevent things like copyright infringement or simple copy and paste of a graphic. Users have some type of utilitarian use for the NFT. The NFT's like Bored Ape, which are essentially computer generated graphics, lack this kind of value, and are predicated more on FOMO and smoke and mirrors.

I have never had an atheist show up at my front door telling me what to believe. I have had people of many, many religions do it.

Yeah, I’m not sure where OP got the idea that atheists were all in-your-face with their beliefs. Most atheists keep it a secret so they don’t get ostracized/disowned by their religious families.
