Thanks for posting jflores. It's going to be heartbreaking if we don't land these guys (especially KJJ).

They both seem to be Huskers leans but my question is how does Gebbia compare to O'Brien? I know size wise O'Brien has it but how does the arms compare, Gebbia more accurate and O'Brien have the better cannon?

I went to one of their games and its hard to get a read. Their competition was not good so it wasnt like he had to read any defenses. he pretty much had multiple open choices on most plays. As far as size I would describe him as slight at this point. Still young but he is not very big at all height or weight wise

On film POB is much bigger, with a stronger arm, and both are accurate. With that said Gebbia is ranked much higher at this point. From the film I like POB better, but Gebbia still has quite a bit of time before he graduates and will get bigger and better, so who knows how it plays out.

Yah it seems as highly as folks rate O'Brien, Gebbia is a much more traditional Eason-type hype of QB. Love to have both on the roster if we can get them.

The best way to deal with the 5-7 blues is to start signing big name players for next year and 2017. The fans are hungry over a few "name" recruits and could give some hope to the future.

I hope we can land both of these guys.

dude doesn't have a clue, both these guys like the Huskers and I know KJJ is a Husker lean, maybe Gebbia as well. Only way we don't get KJJ is if we lose Riley as coach.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you don't have a clue.

I don't know anything special but I've followed recruiting long enough to make an educated guess that they won't be here in Lincoln. Since you know so much, give me an example of when we've gotten a recruit like KJJ in the past 10 years. The relationship with Riley got him in the door but it won't close the deal. Yes, it's just an opinion but it's based upon years of observation.

Well KJJ is currently a 5.8 4-star, so I'd say we get about six recruits like that every year.

Stanley Morgan 5.8 4 star, Eric Lee 5.9 4 star, Avery Anderson 5.8 4 star, Terrell Newby 6.0 4 star, Marcus Newby 5.8 4 star, Jordan Westercamp 5.8 4 star, Alonzo Moore 5.8 4 star, Jammal Turner 5.9 4 star, Adam Taylor 5.8 4 star and believe or not there's more recruits like KJJ.

Or 5 star guys? Marlon Lucky, Zach Bowman or Baker Stienkuhler (May have miss spelled name), and another CB Andre (Dr dre).

That might be a stretch.

In terms of ratings, I don't think KJJ is too much a stretch. We do get 5.8 and higher guys on the regular. In terms of profile, its very rarified air for NU to be playing in an NFL football star's ball park.

He's a propaganda piece we just don't get here much.

My reply was that it might be a stretch to get about 6, 5.8, 4* players every year. Personally I think that getting KJJ would be huge get and not a stretch.

Keyshawn Jr isnt the best receiver on that team...Its Hightower that will be the stud in that group....Jr would fit the role that Westerkamp holds....if he is close to as good as JW has been thats all we can ask for.

ok fair enough, we do get our fair share of 4 star guys with a sprinkle of 5 star guys here and there. now landing the Rice Jr's or D. Sanders Jr type kids would be on a different level for us. But KeShawn Jonhson Jr does seem to have huge interest in us and loves Riley for his coach. We have a true shot here.
