I can’t imagine how many Sooner Greats we would have loss if the NIL and some equivalent to the transfer portal had been available during the Switzer years.

I feel bad for Nick. He stepped in after Williams and Rattler poofed. Then did not see the field with any meaningful plays after Gabriel got drilled. Wish him well.

wonder if Gibson will follow him, they were both committed to Florida and he decided to follow Evers.

He probably sees that Jackson Arnold, Elite Eleven MVP, will get the nod next season as the #2 behind DG. We are in this position because of Riley and Williams. Riley, as he got Williams to follow him but Williams delayed his decision (he played in the bowl game) which caused Rattler to pull the trigger and transfer not knowing what Williams was going to do. We should still have Rattler for better or worse.

Wish Rattler would have stayed. He and Mims had a connection.

I always got the feeling Riley ran Rattler off. After the way things went down when Riley left it looked like he was gutting OU right before our eyes.

There is "smoke" out there. Let's get Arnold's signature back before this message board determines which qb should be the starter or backup. Rattler was the "Arnold" until Williams was anointed the "Arnold" of the future. Will Arnold be a "Rattler or a Williams"? TBD.
