Copycat Panthers are doing what South Carolina did to Oklahoma. Syracuse first three drives committed three turnovers in which Pittsburgh capitalized on two pick six.

Pitt is now 7-0, will host Clemson on 11/16.
They haven't played much of a schedule. But neither has Clemson aside from UGA.

Man, I keep looking at some these ranked teams and seeing their schedules and thinking, we'd be 7-0 or 6-1 with that schedule. But, oh well, at some point we have to be able to beat good teams. Rabbit trail ended.

That seems to be the case with a lot of teams every year. Easy early schedules lead to lots of undefeated or one loss teams after 5 or 6 games. Texas was a great example, looked unbeatable and the class of college football until last week when Georgia came to town. Clemson is the inverse of Texas, looked very ordinary to start the season but has rehabbed their image by beating up on a bunch of crap teams.

Carolina should start the process of moving back to the ACC. I think we would be a legit contender in the ACC most years. We would only have to win one or two tough games a season to be in the ACCCG or win the conference. There would be many years where the Carolina/Clemson game would be to determine who went to the ACCCG. The rivalry would be insane.

I don't know why but it seemed much more exaggerated this year. Some teams were super pumped up but went 4-5 weeks without playing a legit team and then you had teams like Ole Miss and UT who looked like they had generational offenses only to come way back down to earth in league play. I know that kind of stuff happens every year, but it just seems more pronounced this year. Maybe it's just me, though.

Sounds a lot like Missouri.
