Just a prime example of a circle jerk mentality, which is rapidly screwing up college athletics. Probably one reason Saban hung it up. I doubt that Florida State is the lone program using these tactics.

I wasn't aware that there was any such thing as a nil violation.

I wasn't clear on exactly what the violation was. It was either a no contact period, or the coaches aren't allowed to facilitate the interaction between players and NIL groups. Maybe it was both.

BTW, that's a pretty tough penalty. 1% of football program budget and 5 scholarships.

Im sure ever school does it, Athletes are not allowed to take money from boosters, that is a violation. Every school Im sure does it. NCAA is just pissed at FSU for wanting out of the ACC and shitting the bed against UGA. A@M would have to give up half of their scholarships if the NCAA looked into that program.
