I know we lost tonight, but it is very interesting seeing UK fans tearing apart Calipari when just yesterday they were bragging about the recruiting class and this years team. They change up so quickly

My coworker said before their game, that they were going 40-0 and was going to be the 2nd greatest uofk team ever. I keep reminding him, cow is the coach and they will fail.
This is where Cal’s recruiting comes into question for me. It’s okay to have three guards play together from time to time, as it provides versatility. But there has to be two true forwards that take up most of the minutes alongside the two guards and the big man. IMO, a healthy roster/rotation today consists of two starting guards, two starting forwards, with the big man and backups at the 3, 4, 5, with one true backup guard. Maybe an energy guy for the 10th spot. I know that’s how I would construct my roster if I was a coach
I think Dillingham, Wagner and Sheppard will work well together because Cal’s three guard lineups always typically do, but you just can’t rely on that lineup the majority of the time. Out of the three guards one will get lost in the shuffle in terms of production
Agreed. Not trying to shy away from the fact that we have our own problems here
I think Sheppard will get lost in the mix especially if Wallace or even Wheeler comes back
Cal is amazing, how the hell he sells these kids on UK is amazing. The reason is he always shortens bench. He plays 7 guys. They have 4-5 guys that could play 20-25 minutes somewhere else but don’t mind sitting on the bench.

40-0 is off the table. . .but 0-31 is still a possibility for Coach Payne unfortunately.
I don't think Cal sells kids on UK, he sells them on the NBA and that he is the best way to get there.
