Your men's team has been flirting with the top 10 all season and beat my Illini for the first time since 1997! Tennis has been pretty much all Illinois and Ohio State for the last ~20 years but the Cats may have a say about that this year.

Jock of all trades wrassler was a high school coach for a few years and played at Lake Forest Academy. Cats almost beat number three ranked TCU! Wow! Solid!
Cats are 5-0 in the BIG after sweeping Wisconsin and Minnesota 4-0 over the weekend. Went to see them today vs. the Gophers and I would say the strength is in numbers. Outstanding team depth, but no dominant player like Todd Martin. It's also a relatively young team in position to be good next year as well.
Cats men's tennis still rolling, could be their best season ever. Ranked 15th in the country, and second highest in the B1G only trailing #3 dOSU.
Illini win the rubber match, but lose to tOSU in the finals. Looks like the Illini will be hosting a first round regional again, but the Cats should be a dangerous team and a threat to advance to the S16 at whatever regional they are assigned to.
