playing with house money, no pressure for a bowl, one game to make a statement....is this what uk fans feel like this time of year usually?

Yes I am sure it is. It'll feel that way for them again next year too. They won't be able to win another 8 or 9 games next year. Next year without Snell and that 1 really good linebacker, they return to normal.
We really don't have much of a chance, and that's OK. This year has been an anomaly for both programs. The right thing to do was not settle and fire Petrino. Whoever gets the job will get a very good one. I still think in the end it'll be Jeff Brohm in spite of the one liners today. Coach speak is a way of life in sports, and although he might never become the UofL coach, he is playing it right with his words. He's not stupid. He knows how to work the system to his advantage.
Coach Brohm is 47 years old, Purdue will have him for at least 8-10 more years, then I can see him go home to the Ville and finish his coaching life there till retirement. He has the ear of the President of PU, BoT, and AD. He is in good shape, he has come to love living up in W. Laffy!! Boiler Up!
Kentucky is about to go to their third strait bowl game. They haven’t gone 2-10 since Stoops first year.
I think about 500 of our 600 total yards from last night will still be on the roster next year. Plus we will add a playmaker in wandale.
Defense wont be as good next year but still has really good playmakers returning.
