What do you assume I’m referring to?
The problem is they bought in.
They bought into what?
When the players just throw away the analytics and go play it’s a pretty good team.
How are you able to discern the moments they “throw away the analytics”? Is someone telling you, because I could say the last majority of the last game looks like they went back to playing consistent with how they should have been, which is analytically driven. (Can be specific if you’d like.)
They haven’t played 2 full games like that on the season.
Agreed. I’ll go further — it’s literally the only game they have played like that. Here’s to hoping the right adjustments have been made. None of us know yet.
20 minutes against St John’s. 20 minutes against IU. 33 minutes against Miss St.
Not a good team in the bunch.
And? That tells us nothing other than this team has been bad most of the year — something that isn’t in contention. Hopefully, we see more of what we saw last game; we desperately need it.
Still, I think we beat LSU. No logical reason to think that. Other than LSU is not very good.
Sure, there is. This team hasn’t proven they can win on the road. This is a team that has struggled with confidence all year. I picked LSU to win in Ol’ Red’s prediction contest.
My post was about saying the Mark Pope from last year is in there somewhere. I’m hoping he’s finding his footing with this team, but that remains to be seen.
TLDR: Short term is uncertain. Long term — I still hope he figures it out and like to think he’s doing that now.
