Refs REALLY GOOD SO FAR, GLAD TO SEE THE LADY REFS ARE AS COMPETENT AS THE MEN.
Women's basketball officiating is horrendous.
The refs already called two fouls on Clara, game over, IMO
These refs should wait until after the game to smoke crack.
The referee schedule is; men 1A+ get priority #1, the mens 2A+ get second priority, then women start to pick up high ranking officials. This trend alternates until they hit NAIA. The only time women get the A+ crew is on nights there aren’t any big games and they’ll recycle referees, sometimes allowing top officials to be over big female games instead of a dead night of nothing-burgers.
It’s crazy all the similarities with our men’s and women’s team this year. New coach’s. All new players. Insane energy about the programs. Good starts to the season. Both teams well coached but lacking athletes in the first year. It’s gonna take a couple years for both programs to start getting the players they want and be the teams they want to be. Still hopeful that the men’s team can be special but they gotta show me they can create good shots against high caliber teams consistently.

Both have real coaches that easy to see how it will translate with better athletes.
