If Duke comes to Rupp it very well may be the biggest game in the history of the arena. That atmosphere will be on another level.
100% and the tv ratings will be massive.
They have a 2 year window for this home and home to happen, they need to pull the trigger on it.
If they send clemson (yuck), or unc, they are lame.

UK v Duke in Rupp and Indoor would be great for college basketball.

That was a great game last year. Would have been better if it was actually in somebody’s home.

I think Pope and Scheyer would be more open to it. Having played for the programs they probably have a deeper appreciation for matchups like that in the home arena.

K and Cal were just stubborn for no reason on things.

One didn’t want to leave his home arena the other wanted to play every other big stage in the country other than the biggest of stages…his own home.

They will probably get the return home game for Clemson in the ACC/SEC Challenge. I dislike UNC, but at least they had the nuts to play in Rupp. Duke, on the other hand, must be split down there.

duke will nix it because they will not want to play in Rupp.

Duke doesn't get to nix it.

They play who they are matched up with.

I've been pretty vocal on here that I think there is nearly a 100% chance we play Duke in Rupp next year, and then Cameron the following year.

If they don't do it this year, they'll have to wait another 3 years for an opportunity to do a Kentucky/Duke home&home matchup in the challenge, which would be idiotic.

We are scheduled to play UNC next year in the CBS classic already, so they technically COULD give us UNC this year, but there would be no opportunity for a home and home in consecutive years.
