Oof... that's potentially season ending.

Est full recovery time for a broken forearm bone is 3 to 6 months.

Can take 6-12 weeks just to fully mend much less get back motion and no pain.

He's probably done. I mean even best case is 6 weeks and that's without practice time. In a perfect world that would have him starting practice at the end of Dec.

So maybe back by conference play AT BEST and I highly doubt that.

How important is he to their roster? He's been there a few years, so I'm sure he's one of their starters.

Scored 17 against KU and they say he was poised for a big year. So, decently important. The UNC fans don't seem too happy about it for sure.

He’s kind of like their glue guy. Not great at one particular thing but average to good at a lot. He’s hustles and works hard and has the respect of the locker room.

Hate that he got hurt, hope he has a long career, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy they will be down a guy when we play them. I'll take any advantage we can get, especially against them. They still have a large h2h lead on us.

We are always down guys do to injuries, so we know how they feel.

If somebody’s breaking bones working out , they’re doing it wrong ..

Could have landed it on it wrong. Or maybe he had some small stress fractures that didn't heal well and caused structural weakness. There's no telling really. And it also depends on the fracture. is it a clean break? is it shattered?

Regardless, I doubt he plays again this season. At least not very much.

I'm gonna be neutral on it After all the injuries we've had, that juju can stay somewhere else.

Senior guard and team captain. Survivable, but a big blow and lowers their ceiling.

Us losing MO D might be the best comparison. Not as players, just role on team, leadership, and tone setting. Bringing lot's of intangibles and effort.

Hopefully he‘s very cautious, and takes the full 6 months to make sure it heals properly.
You can never be too careful.

Yikes, I don't even want to think about losing Mo D, not even for 1 game.

I have no sympathy for UNC and want that head to head back in place. It’s the one black mark on our historical position.

Take them all down. We’ve been dealing with this more than anyone so, I’d say it’s fair. Hope he plays long in the NBA.
