The first leg of our Wildcat double-header tips off in a few minutes. Matt is in LA for the football game and me...well, I'm on the couch watching on Peacock.

Ciaravino gets the start tonight after missing the opener.

17-4 at the under 12 break. Defense has been outstanding. Rotation is 9-deep so far. Reid has been fantastic. He and West have hit 3s.

First three for West!

What’s with the butter fingers for Kropp? Literally dropped two balls.

Kroft needs to grab those rebounds . That's 3 I've seen get taken away from him when he had done a nice job to get into position.

On ONE of those, the Boston player literally held one of his arms so he only had one arm available for the rebound. Very shaky and wasn't called.

Page showing some offense. Our threes not falling.

Great ball movement starting with Nick passing out of the double team, then all the way around the horn to get Page an easy layup.

Reid is fun to watch and is the engine that can make our offense go.

It feels like this is quickly becoming Reid's team, which I think is a positive. Our best teams have been when we've had a good PG (McIntosh, Boo) running things. Seems like it's open auditions of sorts for other guard minutes.

Reid is our quickest point guard in recent memory. Reminds me somewhat of Juice Thompson.

11 points and six assists for Reid at halftime. He’s in the middle of everything.

all five starters shooting over 60% in first half.

defense gives up 51 points in its first 50 minutes this season.

Very impressed by the Cats in the 1st half as the 2nd half begins. Great shooting by the Cats and solid defense. Hope to see us keep it up in the 2nd half. Go Cats!

Damn I wish they just had one more big that could give them 10-15 decent mins a game. Page has been awesome but like... a LOT of the season rides on him staying on the court

Page has a size and skill set combination the likes of which NU has not seen in a while. Reid is looking good. The frosh other than Kropp are not playing like frosh. Gelo is improved. Nick is Nick. A lot to like for development through the season.

Just as you say that Kropp is getting comfortable.
