A bigger game than OSU before the season started.

Let's have some fun..we definitely can win

Stop worrying about the OSU game.

Other teams will be losing to them too in the same fashion.

I'm hopeful that the linebackers are in better position this weekend to make some plays. They were all over the place against OSU, often times running in the wrong direction of where the ball carrier was going.

Will also be interested to see if the offensive line makes any improvements from last week's game. Confidence level is probably a lot lower than they'd like so hopefully they can have a good game and get it back.

Excellent defense. Will keep it a close game, and will win it for them if we let them get ahead of us. With the way QB, OL, and WR have been playing, we will be lucky to get 21. Hope our defense is on top of their game.

Amen. Tired of seeing our LBs taking themselves out of plays.

Leave the turnovers on the breakfast table/

Nebraska has more turnovers (14) than any other B10 team. The next closest is Northwestern with 11 thru 4 games. Iowa has the fewest (1). It will be very difficult to win conference games going forward if you surrender possession of the ball to your opponent 3 times per game...… with the possible exception of Northwestern who is just as bad at ball security so far.

As someone who works at Northwestern currently and has had their fill of Evanston and the like, I think we got this in the bag

We’ve got to spread them out on O and use our skill advantage. Adrian needs to run when it’s there. Defense needs to force 3 and outs and a couple turnovers. Need to start FAST and keep the crowd in the game!

No. I mean it. Nebraska will be ready to play after that humiliation, and will be out for blood.

Nope.

Nebraska is the type of team NW beats. Turnover and penalty prone. It will allow them to hang on into the fourth quarter and from there anything can happen.

We have a hell of a challenge on Saturday. Not only are we playing Northwestern, but we'll probably find a way to play against the University of Nebraska as well.

This might be the best post regarding our games with NW. They usually don't beat themselves; they wait for a mistake (TO or Penalty), then capitalize on it, and steal away a game they shouldn't have won (if it is based on talent).
