I feel like I'm watching Stoops football where game after game after game, I ask myself: Do we do anything at all in practices? We need a full week if nothing but passing and shooting drills. Other than the addition of JQ and Lowe's play, this team hasn't improved at all through 14 games now. Once again, I like Pope as a person, but this team is not being coached properly. This team.may not make the tournament. I didn't expect to win this game, but I also didn't expect to lose like that. Unacceptable for Kentucky basketball.
Im as frustrated as anyone and I hate the lack of effort I see in spurts and the lack of proper coaching decisions. That being said we were “competitive for 32 minutes of the 40. Only weren’t competitive for 8 when we let them torch us and go up 22. Hell we outplayed them for the majority of the second half. Problem is you can’t have lapses and can’t take 8 minutes off in a game and expect to win. Pope must make changes, tighten the rotation, make the tough decisions and do what’s needed to win. I’m not sure he has that gear though, I hope I’m wrong.
It’s simply false to say it wasn’t competitive though.

These players deserve better coaching than they are getting.
