I was hoping for a shiny #25 or something in the AP poll this week (NU is #28), but it was not meant to be. That's fine. They'll certainly have the opportunity to earn their way onto the poll this week. Ok to stay under the radar for another week...

Yep, the team needs to just keep doing what they've been doing. I'm pulling for a first place finish in the regular season, and if we accomplish that, no one will be worrying about the polls or RPI.

Those interviews are in full force already. Chicago media were all over that in the NU media interviews last Friday. The team seem to be handling it well.

Not that I disagree, but for the record it wasn't so long ago that we were last ranked. I remember walking around in Tampa for the Outback bowl against Auburn and talking with friends about how crazy it was that we were ranked, so that would put it at January 2010?
