if ratings are going to dictate the slots, there are too many options at the committee’s disposal to even comprehend what’s hopeful to avoid. so, i for one, won’t. i won’t be surprised or stressed about whatever they will be.

take the worst possible draw you can think of, and any one of us could match it, off the top of our heads. think of a former coach, a rivalry team, a conference team, a style of play mismatch, a revenge game, and there is no shortage of potential high drama matchups. there’s actually too many.

i think the days of caring about playing a team in red, or an ivy league team in the first round, for that matter, are over. there will be no easy draws for anyone to go 6-0. it feels like it’s going to be an epic tournament, and for a change, i don’t think i’m going to be nervous about selection sunday. i’m just looking forward to it.

Our first two opponents will likely be worse than any team in the SEC, sans maybe USCjr and LSU.. and that might even go as far as the first THREE teams we face, if the bracket breaks for us.

We could play the 14th, 6th and like the 10th... all those teams would be worse in ranking than like Ole Miss..

Only concern for me is, I feel like they play down to their competition

Of course, Ole Miss worked us like a rented mule

That is true. But thisbyear is such a mess with injuries and then asking role players to take on bigger roles, that i just don't think we've even seen us at our max. Roster makeup has been just too inconsistent to get much going lately.

Every mock tournament field I’ve seen looks like we can win the first 2 games fairly handily.

The selection committee is going to have a difficult time trying to seed the sec teams so they don’t face each other too early in the tournament.

The only thing I want is for Kentucky to play on Friday/Sunday that first weekend because I got tickets to the Lexington regional which is Thursday/saturday.

I'm sorry but I don't get the importance of seeding. Not when you look at the recent tournaments.
