Or whatever alias he’s using, but is this our largest margin of victory in an exhibition game ever? Ok I’m sure it’s not all time but maybe in modern era. I’ve been watching a long time and don’t remember ever winning by 71. I am getting old though, may have forgotten. The announcer said Wesleyan had most of their team back from upsetting UL last year 🤣

Morehouse in 2012 was 125-40. So an 85 point victory.
Also keep in mind:

---The year before we played Morehouse, Morehouse went 14 and 16.
---The year we played Morehouse, they went on to finish with an 8 and 19 record.
---Last year Kentucky Weslyan went 21 and 9 and won their conference championship.
---Weslyan has 5 of their top 6 scorers back this year.
---Against Morehouse we had Anthony Davis.

After watching UK STRUGGLE in exhibition games at times the last 2 years this was exhilarating. I LOVE NOT hearing our coach say"We're young" after the game. These guys don't need to learn the college game, all they need to learn is how to play with each other. Good start for Coach Pope,71 point blowout, imagine the comments had we put in a stinker instead. The only thing the " doom merchants" can spin tonight is the " we are one deminional" riff. If my team is shooting 48 percent from 3 one night, something tells me I will not be telling them to be pounding the ball inside in time outs

Well which one was worse? I remember a brutal beat down with Fox/Monk.

Edit-: Found it...156-63, yikes
Kind of crazy looking at the box score, we only hit 6 threes and two were by walk-ons. The other four all by Mychal Mulder. Basically no significant player on that roster hit a three in a game where we scored 156.

This one was against an 8 time Division 2 national championship program, that returns an experienced team from last season. Only time will tell, but this one may be the most impressive.
I won’t get my hopes up too much until we play legit D1 talent though
