So through 3 games, Tre has played 90% of available minutes. As a whole, the team is -13, yet somehow Tre is an astounding -26.

In last night's game, Tre was -14 in 35 minutes, while Lindsey was +8 in only 15 minutes. To me, it's a bit unconscionable that Collins didn't sit Tre, especially in the 2nd half where it was clear he was hurting the team by being out there. With Tre off the floor, we only gave up 2 points in 9 possessions. Small sample size, sure, but perhaps it's time to make it not so small.

Last night was the second game in a row where lineups with JvZ played much better defense than lineups with Pardon, but struggled to score. If only we could do on-the-fly substitutions going up and down the court...

Would it surprise you to know that of all players, our defense is the best when Taphorn is playing? Unfortunately, our offensive performance also happens to be the worst with lineups featuring Taphorn. Very goofy, but he's only really played in 2 of the 3 games.

Let's hope the guys pull it together up at the barn. KenPom has the Gophers ranked below Nebraska, so perhaps Richard Pitino's underachieving team is what we need to get back on track.
