1) defense found a way yo be aggressive and dominate — now it needs to figure out how to maintain that for 4 quarters
2) linebacker play was much improved. Deebo was terrific and Blanton has vastly improved his positioning
3) Nyck… the future looks bright
4) A severely depleted offensive line held up for long stretches.
5) Super Mario — absolutely amazing runner
6) Secondary played much better
7) Open field tackling has vastly improved

Agree with those, just need to not have lapses in those improvements.
Harbor will be special.

Agree that Blanton had better positioning but he needs to be able to read the play and finish.

Open field tackling may have been better overall but we were embarrassingly bad on a few critical plays.

There were some things we did better but only matter if we can do it consistently from game to game. At one point we thought the OL was kind of coming around, but then they got rocked at Missouri.

The thing that struck me about this team is that we don’t seem to be capable of improving multiple areas at once. It seems like if we put our efforts into improving one position, it is offset by another position taking a step back.

OP is a master turd polisher. aTm is a mediocre at best team this season and that game never felt in doubt.

Special teams were a source of excitement last couple of years. This year not so much.

Harbor will be special. Does anyone think he'll be special for USC? Talent like that has "transfer portal" written all over him.

I'm not getting that vibe off of him.

I don't see it this year, but expect a breakout season next year. Then every team with a Heisman hopeful QB will be backing up the Brinks truck to get him. It's just hard to see USC being at a level to keep him, when every national championship contender will be making their pitch.

If Harbor were chasing a Brinks truck, he would be in Eugene right now.
