Now that Phillips has flipped, who will OU target?

I still believe the longer he waits, the better it is for OU.

Let it go. Time to move on. We win and lose some, that's part of the process. I always believe OU gets the guys they should. My personal belief is you want guys who want to be here without doubts. You don't need to take one last trip if you're sure OU is home.

You don't know recruiting as well as you think you do.
We may or may not get Phillips, or even some other players, but that's part of any team's recruiting process.
For 17-18 year boys, where they will live and play for the next 4 years is often a last minute decision even after they are committed.
Sometimes "you" need to take other visits after making a are non-binding commitment.

No, you don't if you've made your decision. And BTW, I was recruited and played D1. And went through the process for two sons, so I think I do know a thing or two about it.

OU had Ryan Broyles flip-flopped between OU and OSU, before he went with OU the day before signing day.....as one example.
My point is, once again, that some boys who are committed to a team....especially a team outside their living area (Nashville to Norman as an example) and following an early commitment.....can be still swayed by other teams. Jacob Phillips looks like just another example.

I simply asked who might be a late target. And like I stated earlier, I wish him well. You asked about a source, I said check the web, I know Josh_M would prefer we not link to the competition who has some very good inside information on the current state of JP. If you know about some brainiacs you might find something out.

I also agree, one can be swayed and that's part of the game until they sign. However, I stated it was my belief that you go where you should and do it without doubts in the end. Phillips might wake up on signing day and believe OU is the right place, but if he doesn't, that too is the correct call.

OU is still in on Marvin Wilson, DT from Houston, who's a 5-star.
May not happen, but if I had to chose between Wilson and Phillips, I would have to go with Wilson due to OU's bigger need at DT.
If OU loses both, it's still an excellent class.....and I keep reading about some other good players that can still be coming.

College sports is so corrupt and it's been that way for decades. Maybe....maybe it's no so much now. Not!! My dad wrestled at Oklahoma A&M and had a "job" winding clocks that were electric.
