I say the ACC is a lot better than most thought. Wake Forrest is playing toe to toe with FSU. NC State had a tough home game today against a scrappy Syracuse team and the game of the week is Clemson going to play at Va Tech.

ACC football is solid.

True but with the latest ongoing, the team and coaches better be prepared to take an onslaught from the NC St student body. Just keep emotions out of it and take care of business.

I'm hoping this mess creates a "us vs them" mentality.

The coaches need to feed this attitude to them 24/7.

Because if we lose to NCST, I can see a repeat of last year's fold up, with 7 games left.

It could get ugly.

I would love to see the Cards in the Orange or Sugar Bowl, but that only happens if Clemson makes it to the playoffs, AND if the Cards finish 11-1. It's still on the table, but the road to 11-1 is a rough one to travel. The first real road test of the year is Thursday night.

The Cards can make the Orange Bowl by winning out. They could even potentially back into the ACC championship game if Clemson slips up a couple of times, which isn't likely but still possible. Learn from FSU last year and keep on trucking!
