Wow! 19 point win over the #22 team in the country. And that will probably look better as the year goes on because that is a young Texas team and they will get better as the year goes on. Big win!!!!

And that's with Law out most of the game in foul trouble and Falzon injured. There's talent and depth on this team.

Wow! Only got to listen to second half, but wow. Sounds and reads like a very convincing performance all around. And it looks like Brown will be the next real deal.

Hopes: Falzon recovery, Law foul trouble was a fluke and a little more depth develops. But this team could be something special. Really looking forward to watching the game tomorrow.

Big step! Solid game plan, fairly well executed. I only say that because the exciting part is that there is room to grow! Doug Collins can exhale!

The team played much better than against Butler. Great half court sets, much less forced one on one play, great help D on their drives, and a pretty good job against a tough press. Brown was actually out of control at times, but was solid down the stretch. With Law a non-factor with fouls, this was even more impressive. Tomorrow's game (6 eastern time) against Notre Dame will be a war, but we can get `em!

The true test for Northwestern athletics is always winning after people start paying attention. Tomorrow's game will be particularly tough -- a better team (according to KenPom) that will get 3-4 hours more rest. Win that one and I think we can take NCAA talk a little more seriously.

The 'Cats took advantage of UT's youth and inexperience (not that the 'Cats don't have youth and inexperience at certain spots).

Anyone know the make-up of the Domer squad?

Darren Rovell tweeted out a picture with him. There were a lot of NU celebs there.

Surprised there were no other crowd shots (other than Doug Collins). Maybe keeping production costs down?
The "crowd" was not exactly overrun with people. Probably 200-500 fans for each team, and then an assorted few others there just to watch some lovely high level basketball from a Chris Collins coached team.

Today's Chicago papers list it as a 2:30 tipoff and on ESPNU?
