Highest Graduation Success Rate for all athletes in the nation:

Northwestern's 98-percent GSR matches the department's all-time record and the highest mark by a Big Ten athletic department in the 14 years GSR data has been released. The Wildcats have scored 96-percent or higher overall each year, finishing in the top-four among FBS athletic departments annually.

Northwestern football's 99-percent GSR is the top score among all FBS institutions across the nation, and leads the Big Ten by 10 points. Wildcats football has ranked first or second in the nation in GSR among FBS schools for eight consecutive years. Northwestern is the only Division I football program to appear in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings (No. 22) and have a GSR above 95-percent.

You hear it all the time how recruits value “academics” of particular institutions when going through the recruiting process. A lot of times, it just seems like lip-service. A “of course I have to go to classes too” type of situation.

However, when an athlete commits to NU, you know for certain that they are genuine when it comes to caring about their academic future.

It’s unfortunate THIS kind of stuff can’t even get a small blurb on ESPN.
