Good to see Boo back in the starting lineup.

Hope to see a repeat of the first game without the slow start. Hope to see enough dominance that backups play most of the second half.

Did Audige need to sit the year out both because of NCAA transfer rules but also to develop himself physically for B1G play?

game is very similar to last one. We start off well, other team makes a run and then we start asserting our size advantage and start pulling away. Audige again our best player. Buie with a nice drive and also pushing the ball. Nance again looks a little choppy below, Young again getting the job done.

Overall they look fine. Some really tough shots made by Chicago State still a comfortable lead

Nance seems to have a need to dribble the ball a couple of times before going to the rim. I don't think that will work in the B1G.

Loved Audige hitting the baseline bounce pass to Kopp for the 3. Signs of chemistry?

Ben Brust keeps thinking it’s Robbie “Berans.” Separately, I’m old enough to remember Brust’s high school and discussing his recruitment on this board ...

NU is really pushing the pace. They have 51 points at the half and just one turnover. We could see 100 today, fellas.

NU has a 17-0 advantage in points off turnovers. The shooting isn't great -- they have hit 40% of their shots and Audige is just 3-12 -- but they should coast in the second half.

I don't think this team could have scored 111 in an empty gym last year, so that's a positive sign, but it's hard to take anything significant away from a game against an opponent this hopeless.

We will certainly have much tougher opponents but this team is quick and passes well and has some scorers. Audige reminds me a little of Oladipo. He needs to have a little better shot selection but could be a beast in the big ten. Good thing we never got the other guy who landed up elsewhere Because Audige is going to be a stud
